Create Compound Fields for Grid Views

You can create compound fields and make them available for selection when creating grid views. A compound field groups together several fields, each separated by a comma when displayed in the grid view.

Compound fields are available to add to grid views by any user who can create views, not only the user who created the compound field.

Before you start

You need the privilege Manage Candidates Lists (IRC_MANAGE_CANDIDATE_JOB_APPLICATION_LISTS).

Here's what to do

  1. In the View menu, select Manage Views.
  2. On the Manage Views page, click the Actions menu and select Manage Compound Fields.
  3. On the Manage Compound Fields page, click Add.
  4. Enter a name for the compound field.
  5. Select a field category.
  6. Add fields.
  7. Click Save.
