Validating and Submitting CbC Reports

You must file an annual report for Country by Country (CbC) reporting for the entire entity and for each tax jurisdiction in which the entity operates.

Using Tax Reporting to assemble the required financial data and additional filing information for the CbC Reports, you need to perform additional tasks to extract the CbCR data from your Tax Reporting application, and transform it into a CbCR XML file that can be filed with your local tax authorities.

Using Narrative Reporting, you need to generate the following files:

• The XML file for submission to the local tax authority
• A .TXT validation file that contains any errors or omissions.

Note:

All errors must be corrected and validated before the XML file will be accepted by the tax authority.

From Oracle Cloud Marketplace, download the "Populate and Validate the Country by Country Reporting XML File" application for Oracle Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud. The application contains a readme that describes the import of the Data Source and the Report Template.

In order to submit the XML and .TXT validation files, you must contact the local tax authority. Each tax authority has its own mechanism for submissions, so follow the guidance provided by the local tax authority.
