Order Base Ship Unit Public Automation Agents

Oracle Transportation Management provides sample automation agents in the PUBLIC domain. It is recommended that all PUBLIC automation agents be deactivated upon installation. You can make copies of these PUBLIC automation agents in non-public domains. In these non-public domains, you can make changes to the sample automation agents so that they fit your business process.

Note: PUBLIC automation agents should never be deleted.

The following PUBLIC automation agents are available for the agent type of ORDER BASE SHIP UNIT.

Order Base SU - Modify

Order Base SU - Modify is a sample automation agent for handling modified order bases ship units. This automation agent applies date and quantity changes from the order base line to the existing order release, order movements, and shipments for order releases using a buffer location. Provides more control with options to propagate quantity and/or dates and optionally re-rate the shipment.

Note: This agent will only work when there is a buffer order release for this order base. The propagation only applies to the buffer order release and related shipments.

This automation agent is not active by default.

Triggering Event

ORDER BASE SHIP UNIT - MODIFIED

Event Restrictions: Data source can be INTEGRATION or INTERNAL or USER.

Saved Conditions

Actions

ORDER BASE SHIP UNIT - PROPAGATE CHANGES including order base line quantities, recalculate cost, and pickup and delivery dates.

Ship Unit Releasing Status

Sample automation agent for setting order base ship unit releasing status based on whether the ship unit is partially released, fully released, or over released.

This automation agent IS active by default.

Triggering Event

ORDER BASE SHIP UNIT - MODIFIED

Event Restriction: Data source is only INTERNAL.

Actions

• If the released count on the order base line is less than the packaged count, then SET INTERNAL STATUS to SHIP UNIT RELEASE STATUS_PARTIAL.
• If the released count on the order base line is equal to the packaged count, then SET INTERNAL STATUS to SHIP UNIT RELEASE STATUS_COMPLETE.
• If the released count on the order base line is greater than the packaged count, then SET INTERNAL STATUS to SHIP UNIT RELEASE STATUS_OVER RELEASED.

Unload Order Base Ship Unit from HD

Sample automation agent for unloading (soft deleting) order base ship units from HD when an order base ship unit is removed from OTM. This agent is intended for use with Transportation Intelligence.

This automation agent is not active by default.
