Note: Manager layout capability is added to this action so that you can customize the input page (i.e. hide some fields, make some fields mandatory, etc.). In the Screen Set Manager, you are provided with the Action options:
Link Document: Select this option to avail the action as a manager layout. This is available by default on the finder actions.
Add Document (Deprecated): Select this action and choose the Link option in the Create As field to avail the action as a regular web action page. This is available only on the custom screen set.

Use the Link Document action to link an existing document to an object.

Perform the following steps to link an existing document:

  1. Enter a Document to link. The document type of the document selected should support the data query type.
  2. Click Link.
