Validate Shipment/Transaction/Declaration/Campaign Line/Item Qualification for Document

This action is accessed via:

  • Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments or Sell Shipments. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Utilities > Validate Shipment for Document.
    • click the Details icon icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for the Document. Click Utilities > Validate Shipment for Document.
  • Transactions > Trade Transactions. On the Documents tab
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Utilities > Validate Transaction for Document.
    • click the Details icon icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for the Document. Click Utilities > Validate Transaction for Document.
  • Customs > Declarations. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Utilities > Validate Declaration for Document.
    • click the Details icon icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for the Document. Click Utilities > Validate Declaration for Document.
  • Trade Agreements > Campaign Lines. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Utilities > Validate Campaign Line for Document.
    • click the Details icon icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for the Document. Click Utilities > Validate Campaign Line for Document.
  • Master Data > Items > Trade Details tab > Item Origin > Item Qualification. On the Documents tab:
    • click the Actions icon (Actions icon) next to a Standard Document. Click Utilities > Validate Item Qualification for Document.
    • click the Details icon icon next to a Standard Document. Click the Actions icon for the Document. Click Utilities > Validate Item Qualification for Document.

Run this action to check whether the document is valid to be generated. The Document Validation Rule page defines what makes a document valid. When checking for validation rules, the application first searches for validation rules with both the document type and data query type. If these are not present, then validation rules with just the document type are used.
