Hide Events

Users with the appropriate authority will be able to hide events from being displayed in the Visibility and Shipment Tracking Event pages.

Shipments can be modified as a result of receiving a shipment event. Also, a shipment's state may be dependent on the ordering in which the events were received. This makes any undo or delete mechanism unrealistic. This can cause situations where an event is added in order to "correct" a previously entered event. In this case, you may not want other users to see the original event, or the one defined to "correct" the problem. Therefore, you would mark one, or both, of these events as hidden.

The ability to hide events to certain users is done in user preferences.
