Restricted Party Screening Action

This action is accessed via the following:

  • Restricted Party Screening > Parties > Actions > Screening Services > Restricted Party Screening
  • Master Data > Parties > Actions > Screening Services > Restricted Party Screening

Use this action to determine if the selected party is on the restricted parties list.

If you must make changes to the party record, make the changes in Edit mode and then save the changes. Then, open the contact in View mode before running the action.  Doing so ensures that the contact's status information is not reset.

Note: Party data includes fields labeled Province and Province Code. When restricted party screening is performed, the Province field is compared to the State or Province field. If there is no data in the Province field, then the province code data will be screened against the State or Province field on restricted party data.

Note: GTM bases restricted party screening on the party's company name. If the party has an alternate name on the Party manager page, the party's alternate name is also screened.

  1. Select a service preference from the Service Preference ID drop-down list.
  2. Click Screen Party. The Party Screening Potential Matches window opens.

Party Screening - Potential Matches

The Restricted Party Screening section lists all potential matches.

  1. Click the match icon icon to view the match factor details for any potential match.
  2. To set a match as a verified match or as not a match, select the check box beside the appropriate match and then click either Set Verified Match or Set Not a Match.
  3. You can also add comments to any of the displayed Restricted Party IDs by clicking the icon in the Comments column.

Note: If the party has already been screened (either as part of a transaction or party screening), the status of the earlier screening will be reported.
