Reevaluate License

This page is accessed via:

• Transactions > Trade Transactions > Actions > Manage Licenses > Reevaluate License

• Transactions > Trade Transaction Lines > Actions > Manage Licenses > Reevaluate License

Use this action to evaluate a license existing on a transaction line by taking into account any data modification done on the line. This action helps you to adjust the license assigned to/reserved for the modified transaction line without having to unassign and again assign a license.

If the criteria match between the modified transaction line and the assigned license, this action goes on to check:

• whether any quantity or value has been changed on the transaction line
• license usage on any previous or subsequent transaction line
• balance available on a license line

Based on all these factors, additional license balance is reserved for/assigned to the transaction line, or unused license balance is released.
