Shipping Agent Type

This page is accessed via Brokerage and Forwarding > Shipping Agent Management > Shipping Agent Type.

The Shipping Agent Type page lets you create a shipping agent and define the behavior associated with that type of agent.

1. After entering a Shipping Agent Type ID, enter a Description and Domain.
2. Enter a Sequence for an agent assignment rule, agent shipment responsibility rule or payment method rule. The sequence represents the order in which the rules are processed by the system.
3. Select a Shipping Agent Rule from the appropriate drop-down list.
4. Enter a Parameter for the appropriate shipping agent rule.
5. Click Save for each agent assignment rule, agent shipment responsibility rule or payment method rule.
6. Click Finished to save all the rules for the shipping agent type.
