Override Capacity Usage

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Capacity Management > Capacity Limits > Actions > Override Capacity Usage.

Use this page to override a capacity limit for a service provider. You can do this for one usage period (overriding annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly, or daily limits) or incremented periods within a usage period (overriding a daily limit within a daily period from Sunday through Saturday, overriding a weekly limit within a weekly period for two months, etc.). Do this in the event that a service provider's capacity has changed from a predetermined limit.

Note: To manually expire capacity for a limit greater than zero, you must use this action first to override the limit to zero in the period you choose and then manually expire the capacity prior to the beginning of the period of zero capacity.

For example, you could have four capacity limits set up for four weeks as follows:

Start Date

End Date
