Move Asset to Location

This action is accessed via:

• Shipment Management > Equipment Management > Equipment > Actions > Fleet Management > Inventory > Move Equipment to Location
• Fleet and Asset Management > Driver Management > Driver Manager > Actions > Fleet Management > Driver Position > Move Driver to Location
• Fleet and Asset Management > Power Unit Management > Power Unit > Actions > Fleet Management > Inventory > Move Power Unit to Location

This action moves an asset, such as equipment or a driver, from the current location to another location. The action removes the asset from all existing buckets at the original location and inserts the asset in the bucket specified at the destination location. If the Auto Link check box on the bucket is selected, the asset is linked to the bucket.

Moving an Asset to a Location

1. Enter a Source Location. If you leave the source location blank, this action removes the instance from all buckets that the equipment is currently linked to in any location that it finds it in.
2. Enter a Destination Location.
3. Enter a Source Bucket Name.
4. Enter a Destination Bucket Name.
5. Enter an Association Date. This is the date that the asset was associated with a bucket. If you leave this field blank, it defaults to the current system date.
6. Click Submit.
