Order Base: Line Item Summary

This page is accessed via Order Management> Purchase Order > Order Base. Click the Line Item tab.

The Line Item tab lets you describe the contents of the order by identifying the specific packaged items for shipment. This page displays summary data for each line item that you created for the order.

Note: A packaged item must be defined in the Item Manager before it can be assigned to an order.

This data is used in the planning process to create order releases and shipments.

  1. You can edit (edit) any of the line item data after it is added.

    Note: Any changes you make to line items on an order are not automatically reflected on order releases that have been previously created from the order. You need to delete the order releases and re-release the order based on the changes that you make.

  2. Click New Line Item and record its detail.
