Order Management

Order Movement Status

Order movements are accessed via Order Management > Order Movement > Order Movement.

The Status Type and Value fields display the current state of an order movement. Default status types and values are automatically assigned when the order movement is created.

Every new order movement is assigned the following Status Types:

  • CHARTER VOYAGE ARRIVE MOD: represents how the order movement is affected when a charter voyage arrival has been modified. If the status value is DELIVERY INFEASIBLE, then the arrival date change on the charter voyage is accepted and there is no next leg. However the delivery window on the order release is now invalid. If it is OM EST PICKUP INFEASIBLE then the arrival date change on the charter voyage is accepted. However the previous order will now miss the voyage. If it is SHIP PICKUP INFEASIBLE then the arrival date change on the charter voyage is accepted. However, the next shipment is infeasible.
  • CHARTER VOYAGE DEPART MOD: Similar to the CHARTER VOYAGE ARRIVE MOD, except it is for departure modifications.
  • OM_PLANNING: represents the stages of planning an order movement.

You can define which statuses are displayed for each user by creating a status type filter and then using Manage User Access to associate the User Access Type of Status Type Filter with a particular user. When you have done so, a small arrow appears near the top of the Status window. Clicking the arrow displays all of the statuses, not just the ones displayed by the filter. Bold statuses are ones that appear in the filter, and regular ones are statuses hidden by the filter.
