Order Base Ship Unit Status

The Status Type and Value fields display the current release status of a ship unit on a specific order base. Order base ship units are accessed via Order Management > Purchase Order > Order Base Ship Unit.

You can search for ship units based on the Status Type and Value using the Status tab of the Ship Unit Manager.

You can also assign external Status Types and Values that you create in Power Data.

Note: The assignment of these values is controlled by the SHIP UNIT RELEASING STATUS public automation agent.

The following Status Values for each status type reflects the current release state for a ship unit on a specific order base. Every new order base ship unit is assigned the following internal status type:

• QUALITY VALIDATION DESTINATION
• QUALITY VALIDATION SOURCE
• RELEASE CONTROL SU - Controls future releasing on a purchase order.
• SHIP UNIT RELEASE STATUS - identifies the current release status as described below.

You can define which statuses are displayed for each user by creating a status type filter and then using Manage User Access to associate the User Access Type of Status Type Filter with a particular user. When you have done so, a small arrow appears near the top of the Status window. Clicking the arrow displays all of the statuses, not just the ones displayed by the filter. Bold statuses are ones that appear in the filter, and regular ones are statuses hidden by the filter.
