Document Definition Profiles

This page is accessed via Brokerage and Forwarding > Power Data > General > Document Definition Profiles.

Document Definition Profiles allow you to create groups of documents.

You can use Document Definition Profiles when defining Non-Freight Related Charge (NFRC) Rules. At least one document definition must match for the rule to be applied. The child document list of the job's Letter of Transmittal must contain all of the documents specified in the document definitions profile on the NFRC rule.

Adding a Document Definition Profile:

  1. Enter a Document Definition Profile.
  2. Enter a Description for the Document Definition Profile.
  3. The Compatible check box signifies whether the list is inclusive or exclusive. If the check box is selected, then the list is a list of GIDs that are compatible with whatever you are testing against i.e., NFRC rules. If the check box is not selected, then the list is a list of GIDs that are NOT compatible with whatever you are testing. In this case, everything is considered compatible.
  4. Enter a Document Type to associate with this profile. Click Save.
  5. Enter as many document types as necessary. Click Save for every document type you select.
  6. Click Finished.
