Formulate IATA TACT Rates

This page is accessed via Contract and Rate Management > Power Data > General > Formulate IATA Tact Rates.

IATA is the International Air Transport Association and TACT is the Air Cargo Tariff. This page allows you to translate TACT rate files into Oracle Transportation Management format. It invokes a SQL utility that formulates IATA TACT rates that have already been staged from a CSV file into the X_IATA_TACT_DATA staging table.

Formulating New IATA TACT Rates:

1. Select a Domain Name, or accept the current domain.
2. Select a Base Rate Offering Type from the drop-down list. The base rate offering created during formulation will be assigned this rate offering type.
3. Select a Master Rate Offering Type from the drop-down list. Any master rate offerings created during formulation will be assigned this rate offering type.
4. Enter a New IATA rate prefix. This is a simple text string that will be prepended onto any GID which is created during formulation. This includes rate offerings, rate records, costs, rate profiles, rate versions, etc.
5. Enter a Rate Service.
6. Select a Transport Mode from the drop-down list.
7. Enter an Effective and Expiration date for the rate.
8. Click Submit to save the record.
