Order Schedule Override

This page is accessed via Order Management > Power Data > Order Configuration > Order Schedule Override.

An order schedule override can be used to override the delivery date adjustment settings specified on order schedules. You may want to override an order schedule for specific dates, such as holidays.

Adding an Order Schedule Override

  1. Enter an Override Name.
  2. Find or create an Order Schedule ID.
  3. Select a Domain Name from the drop-down list.
  4. Select or enter an Effective Date and an Expiration Date.
  5. Enter a Description.

Order Schedule Override Details

For each order schedule detail:

  1. Select a Day of the Week from the drop-down list. Your choices are numbers, each corresponding with a day of the week. For example, 1 = Monday, 5 = Friday, etc. This day of the week defines which day the order schedule details are used. For example, if you set the day of the week to 1, then on Mondays when an order release is using the lane defined on the order schedule, and the Set Delivery Dates action is activated, the delivery dates will be affected by the offset dates and times for Monday. You can define different date offsets for each day of the week.
  2. Enter an Early Delivery Date Offset Value to define the number of days to offset the early delivery date from the input date. This value must be a number. The value you enter here is added to the order date to get the delivery date. For example, if January 9th is the order date and you enter an offset value of 3, then the delivery date will be January 12th.
  3. Select an Early Delivery Time from the drop-down list.
  4. Enter a Late Delivery Date Offset Value to define the number of days to offset the late delivery date from the input date. This value must be a number. This field functions the same as the Early Delivery Date Offset Value field above.
  5. Select a Late Delivery Time from the drop-down list.
  6. Enter an Order Template if you want the template overlaid onto the order release. An action Apply Order Schedule exists to apply the order schedule to an order release.
  7. Select a value from the Template Copy Type list to determine how the template will be applied:
    • Copy if Null - will populate the field only if it is blank.
    • Replace - will replace the existing value in the field.
    • Null - leave empty and no default exists. This is the default since Template Copy Type is not required on Order Schedule Details.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Finished.
