Order Schedule

This page is accessed via Order Management > Power Data > Order Configuration > Order Schedule.

An order schedule can be used to define how much the early and late delivery times are adjusted for an order, based on the lane on the order. The Apply Order Schedule action when run manually or by an agent examines the order schedule to determine how the early and late delivery dates are to be adjusted. It also takes applicable order schedule overrides into account. You can use this page to schedule both pickup and delivery dates.

The agent property, glog.agent.action.orderrelease.setpickupanddeliverydates.default, allows you to configure the date that is used for defining the Early/Late Delivery Date. The offset and time are added to this date to compute the early/late delivery date.

Adding an Order Schedule

  1. Enter an Order Schedule ID.
  2. Enter a Lane.
  3. Select an Order Type from the drop-down list.
  4. Select a Domain Name from the drop-down list.
  5. Enter an Effective Date and Expiration Date. These dates provide the duration for which the order schedule is valid. The order dates must fall between these dates.
  6. Enter a Description.

Order Schedule Details

For each order schedule detail:

  1. Select a Day of the Week from the drop-down list. Your choices are numbers, each corresponding with a day of the week. For example, 1 = Monday, 5 = Friday, etc. This day of the week defines which day the order schedule details are used. For example, if you set the day of the week to 1, then on Mondays when an order release is using the lane defined on the order schedule, and the Set Delivery Dates action is activated, the delivery dates will be affected by the offset dates and times for Monday. You can define different date offsets for each day of the week.
  2. Enter an Early Pickup Date Offset Value to define the number of days the pickup will occur from the input date. If the early pickup date is 3 days from now, the value to enter would be 3.
  3. Choose an early pickup time from the Early Pickup Time drop-down list.
  4. Enter a Late Pickup Date Offset Value to define the number of days the pickup will occur from the input date. If the late pickup date is 4 days from the input date, the value to enter would be 4.
  5. Choose a late pickup time from the Early Pickup Time drop-down list.
  6. Enter an Early Delivery Date Offset Value to define the number of days to offset the early delivery date from the input date. This value must be a number. The value you enter here is added to the order date to get the delivery date. For example, if January 9th is the order date and you enter an offset value of 3, then the delivery date will be January 12th.
  7. Select an Early Delivery Time from the drop-down list.
  8. Enter a Late Delivery Date Offset Value to define the number of days to offset the late delivery date from the input date. This value must be a number. This field functions the same as the Early Delivery Date Offset Value above.
  9. Select a Late Delivery Time from the drop-down list.
  10. Enter an Order Template if you want the template overlaid onto the order release. An action Apply Order Schedule exists to apply the order schedule to an order release.
  11. Select a value from the Template Copy Type list to determine how the template will be applied:
    • Copy if Null - will populate the field only if it is blank.
    • Replace - will replace the existing value in the field.
    • Null - leave empty and no default exists. This is the default since Template Copy Type is not required on Order Schedule Details.
  12. Click Save.
  13. Click Finished.
