Packaged Item Profiles

This page is accessed via Brokerage and Forwarding > Power Data > General > Packaged Item Profiles.

Packaged Item Profiles allow you to group packaged items. You can use Packaged Item Profiles when defining Non-Freight Related Charge (NFRC) Rules. For NFRC rules, the specified packaged item profile is compared to the order release packaged item IDs. If an order contains a compatible packaged item, the criteria is satisfied and the rule is applied.

Adding a Packaged Item Profile

1. Enter a unique identifier in the Packaged Item Profile ID field.
2. If desired, add a description of the packaged item profile in the Description field.
3. The Compatible check box signifies whether the list is inclusive or exclusive. If the check box is selected, then the list is a list of GIDs that are compatible with whatever you are testing against i.e., NFRC rules. If the check box is not selected, then the list is a list of GIDs that are NOT compatible with whatever you are testing. In this case, everything is considered compatible.
4. Find or enter a Packaged Item ID to associate with this profile. Click Save.
5. Enter as many packaged items as necessary. Click Save for every packaged item ID you select.
6. Click Finish.
