Rush Hour
This page is accessed via Contract and Rate Management > Power Data > General > Rush Hour.
This page allows you to define delays on certain lanes, at certain times as a result of rush hour. Following is an example of a possible rush hour scenario:
This means that departing from Philadelphia between 7 a.m. - 9 a.m., Monday thru Friday, going to New York, there will be a 2 hour delay.
Adding a Rush Hour:
- Enter a Lane ID for the rush hour to apply to.
- Enter a Calendar ID. This defines the rush hour period that this rush hour applies to. For example, Mon-Fri 7a.m. - 9 a.m.
- Select the Apply to Source check box if this applies to the source location. Otherwise, it will apply to the destination side.
- In the Rush Hour Delay. field, enter the length of the delay that will be incurred by rush hour; for example 2 hours.
- Accept the default for the Domain Name or select another.
- Click Finished.
