Rush Hour

This page is accessed via Contract and Rate Management > Power Data > General > Rush Hour.

This page allows you to define delays on certain lanes, at certain times as a result of rush hour. Following is an example of a possible rush hour scenario:

  • Lane ID: Philadelphia to New York
  • Calendar ID:  MON-FRI 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Apply To Src: selected
  • Rush Hour Delay: 2 Hours

This means that departing from Philadelphia between 7 a.m. - 9 a.m., Monday thru Friday, going to New York, there will be a 2 hour delay.

Adding a Rush Hour:

  1. Enter a Lane ID for the rush hour to apply to.
  2. Enter a Calendar ID. This defines the rush hour period that this rush hour applies to. For example, Mon-Fri 7a.m. - 9 a.m.
  3. Select the Apply to Source check box if this applies to the source location. Otherwise, it will apply to the destination side.
  4. In the Rush Hour Delay. field, enter the length of the delay that will be incurred by rush hour; for example 2 hours.
  5. Accept the default for the Domain Name or select another.
  6. Click Finished.
