Responsible Party Profiles

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Status > Responsible Party Profiles.

A responsible party profile is a set of responsible parties that has something in common and the set is responsible for an action or issue. For example, you may want to create a responsible party profile containing the public responsible parties buyer and shipper.

A responsible party profile can then get assigned to an Audit action, which will drive what responsible parties are available in the Responsible Party list on the Record Reason page. By default, Oracle Transportation Management provides a responsible party profile called Carrier with a responsible party of Carrier that is pre-configured with all available public status and reason codes.
