Corporation Profiles

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Power Data > Location > Corporation Profiles.

You can identify and define groups of corporations that have something in common using Corporation Profiles. Corporation Profiles can be used to include or exclude corporations (and, by association, locations and service providers) from results for queries about rates, itineraries, and shipments.

If you select the Compatible check box, Oracle Transportation Management includes the corporations in the Corporation Profile in searches in other areas of Oracle Transportation Management. If you clear the check box, the corporations are excluded from searches in other areas of Oracle Transportation Management and do not appear in any results.

For example, you may create a Corporation Profile called site_delivery to indicate that the corporations in this profile can deliver goods to a construction site. Because you want the corporations to be included in any searches that require delivery to a construction site, you select the Compatible check box. You can then create a second Profile called no_site_delivery. This second profile may consist of the same corporations, but in this instance the Compatible check box would be cleared.
