NMFC Articles

National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) uses the word "articles" to refer to items and commodities listed in its classifications. The list of articles in the NMFC is broken down into generic groups, such as Item 56400 Dental, Hospital or Medical Supply group, although not all articles are part of generic groups.

From the NMFC Article page, you can also assign an NMFC Class ID to the article by selecting the NMFC Class tab and searching for a Class ID.
