Change Transport Mode

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments or Sell Shipments > Actions > Shipment Management > Change Shipment Details > Change Transport Mode.

Change the transport mode of a shipment to create better transportation options. For example, if a shipment is created with transport mode of Truckload but weighs only 500 pounds, change the mode to Less-Than-Truckload.

After you select a new transport mode, Oracle Transportation Management selects a new service provider, re-rates the shipment, and verifies that it meets the pickup and delivery time windows for orders on the shipment.

You can also change the Equipment Group assignment for the shipment.
