Batch Shipment Events

Shipment tacking events describe activity on shipments. They inform planners, shippers, order owners, and other involved parties about actions related to a shipment or shipment group. Depending on what event type you enter, Oracle Transportation Management changes shipment status, shipment dates, and raises events for the shipment.

This page allows events to be applied to any number of shipments as a batch process. This is accomplished by assigning the event to a Reference Number Qualifier and Reference Number. All shipments associated with the qualifying information will have the shipment event assigned to it.

Shipment Criteria

In the Shipment Criteria section, enter qualifying information about the shipments you want to add an event to.

The Reference Number Qualifier and Reference Number fields are required. All the shipments that match these two fields will have the event added to them.

Optionally, you can further qualify shipments by using the Start Time field. This adds the event to shipments matching the reference number qualifier and reference number, as well as the start time criteria entered here.
