Shipment Management

Container Group Status

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Container Group. Click Status on an existing container group.

The Status Type and Value fields display the current status of a container group. Default status types and values are automatically assigned when the container group is created.

Note: You can search for orders based on the Status Type and Value.

External status types and values associated with the object are also populated from information created in Power Data.

Container groups are assigned the following Status Type:

  • STUFFING: identifies whether a container group can accept additional orders. If the status is open, the container group can accept additional orders and you can perform any of the container group actions. If the status is closed, the container group cannot accept additional orders. You cannot perform any of the container group actions for a container group with this status.

You can define which statuses are displayed for each user by creating a status type filter and then using Manage User Access to associate the User Access Type of Status Type Filter with a particular user. When you have done so, a small arrow appears near the top of the Status window. Clicking the arrow displays all of the statuses, not just the ones displayed by the filter. Bold statuses are ones that appear in the filter, and regular ones are statuses hidden by the filter.
