Retransmit Pickup Notification

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group > Actions > Shipment Management > Pickup > Re-Transmit Pickup Notification.

Use this action to resend a shipment group pickup notification. It resends the most recent pickup notification that was sent to the primary contact of the service provider.

For this action to execute successfully, the Shipment Group Status must be set to GROUP PICKUP_NOTIFIED, since a prior pickup notification had to have been sent in order for it to be resent. The Shipment Group Status does not change after the modified notification is sent. It knows which notification is the most recent by looking at the transaction number in the PICKUP_TRANSACTION_NO column in the SHIP_GROUP table of the database.
