Shipment Group Status

Shipment groups are accessed via Shipment Management > Group Management > Shipment Group. Select a shipment group and click Status.

These statuses pertain to shipment groups.

  • GROUP CALL: These statuses are for shipment group notifications that occur via a manual method, such as a phone call.
  • GROUP PICKUP: These statuses are for shipment group notifications that occur via an automated method, such as email, fax or EDI.
  • JOB: These statuses relate to the jobs and if they are new, assigned or done.
  • SHIPGROUP SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT: These statuses are for scheduling appointments for the shipment groups.
  • SHIP_GROUP GUARANTEED DELIVERY: This is reserved for future use and not currently supported.

You can define which statuses are displayed for each user by creating a status type filter and then using Manage User Access to associate the User Access Type of Status Type Filter with a particular user. When you have done so, a small arrow appears near the top of the Status window. Clicking the arrow displays all of the statuses, not just the ones displayed by the filter. Bold statuses are ones that appear in the filter, and regular ones are statuses hidden by the filter.
