Copy Data from Transaction Lines

Use this action to copy different sets of sales information from a Sales Order Line (Transaction Line Type) to a Fulfillment Line or Shipment Line (Transaction Line Type), and quickly build the necessary data with shipment line as the trade document for customs declaration and/or filing. Specific information like reference numbers, remarks, values, quantities, user-defined codes, Incoterms and Incoterm locations, percentages, country of origin, country of manufacture, involved parties, product classification, etc. can be copied from one transaction line to another.

When you perform this action, the child lines of the source transaction line (order line/fulfillment line) will also be copied to the target transaction line (fulfillment line/shipment line).

Copying Data from a Transaction Line

  1. Enter an ID in the Transaction Line ID field to specify the transaction line from which data is to be copied.

    Or

    Enter a query in the Saved Query field. This will specify the transaction line from which data is to be copied.

    Or

    Select the Copy from Preceding Transaction Line check box to copy data from the preceding line.
  2. Enter the required ID in the Data Configuration ID field. This will determine that data will be copied from the source transaction line to the selected target transaction line, based on your configurations in the Data Configurations window.
  3. Click Copy.
