Add SKU Event

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Visibility > SKU > Actions > Events > Add SKU Events.

SKU events describe activity on SKUs. Enter order events to inform planners, shippers, order owners, and other involved parties about actions related to an SKU.

SKU events are handled the same way as order events. However you can track quantities to an SKU event. If you integrate Oracle Transportation Management with a warehouse management system (WMS) you can use actions to track adjustments to inventory. For example if the WMS indicates that your stock that is on hand has been increased by 200 SKUs, it would be recorded as a Quantity of 200, for Quantity Type ID of On Hand, with a Quantity Update Type of increment.
