Block CSV

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Process Management > Block CSV.

Use this page to specify
and schedule times where CSV files cannot be uploaded.

Note that when you run a Block CSV, it supersedes any other blocks for that block group. E.g., assume Rating is currently being blocked from 0000-0400. At 0300, a user enters another Rating block specifying a duration of 5 hours. The block is extended from 0300-0800.

  1. Select a Block Group. This is the group of data you want to block.
  2. Select the Release Block check box to remove an existing CSV Block for the block group.
  3. Enter a Duration. This blocks CSV uploads for any entity or table in the block group from the time this is run for the duration specified. E.g., if you schedule a Block CSV to start at midnight and run for 4 hours, CSV uploads are not allowed from 0000-0400.
  4. If you are running cluster scalability, specify a cluster to which this request should be assigned.
  5. Enter a User Role. When you run, publish, or schedule a recurring process, you can specify the user role used to perform the process, just like when you run agents. The user role can be used to specify a separate VPD role or another domain to run the agent. When a recurring process is modified, the user role of the recurring process can be modified as well.
  6. Select a Log Profile to generate focused logging when reproducing an error for the specific action. You cannot select a log profile when you choose to schedule a process, as automatic generation of action logs is not supported.
  7. Select Execute, Publish, or Schedule to determine when the process will be executed.
  8. Click Submit.
