Trade Incentive Program Configuration
The Trade Incentive Programs feature involves setting up the following:
- Trade Incentive Programs: Configure trade incentive programs specific to the country or regime.
- Trade Incentive Program Types: Classify trade incentive programs based on common characteristics.
- Trade Incentive Program Sub Types: Classify trade incentive programs into specific sub-categories.
- Entry Exit Profiles: Define the criteria for a declaration or trade transaction to be considered under a particular trade incentive program.
- Entry and Exit Saved Condition: Configure saved conditions to check whether the trade incentive program can be applied to the line or not.
- Transaction and Declaration Data Configuration: Set up data configuration IDs to provide the details to be copied from the entry line to the trade incentive program inventory.
- Trade Incentive Program Reference Qualifiers: Define reference number qualifiers to define reference numbers on the trade incentive program or the trade incentive program inventory. You can also define qualifiers to define reference numbers on entry-exit profile to match relevant declaration lines/transaction lines to a trade incentive program.
- Trade Incentive Program Rules: Define discharge period and matching type under the program. Users have the flexibility to configure Product Specific Rules based on ranges of classification codes.
- Constraint Sets: Configure a constraint set of type "TRADE INCENTIVE PROGRAM - INVENTORY EXIT MATCHING" based on flex fields, reference numbers, and inventory organization to match an export line to an inventory.
- Trade Incentive Program Value Calculation: Define the operations (increase or decrease) to be performed for different value qualifiers on the trade incentive program inventory matching to the exit declaration line.
- Trade Incentive Program Rate: Define the rate percentages to be used for value calculation for different discharge period. This can be used for duty drawback cases where only certain percentage of duties can be claimed after a period of time.
- Logic Configuration: Configure the parameters under the section "Trade Incentive Program" to identify the declaration line attributes like quantity and value to be used for inventory recording and matching. (See Logic Configuration - GTM Transaction Configuration and Logic Configuration - GTM Declaration Configuration.)
- Program Authorizations: Define authorization with allowed goods details to be used for certain trade incentive programs.
