5.5.7 PrivateLink Limitations

• You can create one PrivateLink per DB System.
• You cannot change the value of the configuration variable, max_connect_errors. Changing this configuration variable results in a loss of connectivity on the PrivateLink.
• When you connect to a DB System over PrivateLink, you cannot specify public or private IP addresses in the host_name field of the MySQL account names. You must use wildcard (%) in the host_name field. See Specifying Account Names.
