3.7.3.3.3 About Application Express Page Query
Oracle Forms can be based on database blocks which correspond to database tables or views. The enhanced query builds a query based on the database block and database item metadata, and extends it with block level post-query trigger source to show derived columns
Enhanced Query is the original query with the POST-QUERY
logic included. Original Query is generated from the data source item (table) underlying the block and the columns that are referenced on that block
To specify the type of query to use:
-
Select one of the following from the User Query list:
-
Custom Query
-
Enhanced Query
-
Original Query
-
-
If you select Custom Query, enter the appropriate syntax in the Custom Query field.
-
Click Apply Changes.
