4.2.4.10 Closing an Issue

Close an issue on the Issues Details page.

4.2.4.10.1 Closing an Issue

View an issue and then close it.

To close an issue:

  1. View the issue:
    1. Click the Team Development menu.
    2. Click the issue title.

      The Issue Details page appears.

  2. From the Actions menu, select Close Issue.

    The icon adjacent to the issue title changes from green to red and contains a red check mark. In addition, a new event is added to the Event Timeline which reads:

    set status for this issue to CLOSED Now

4.2.4.10.2 View Closed Issues

View closed issues on the Issues page.

To view closed issues:

  1. Click the Team Development menu.
    The Issues page appears.
  2. Select Closed Issues from the Navigation bar.

    Only Closed issues appear.

    Open issues have a green icon and closed issues have a red icon and check mark.

  3. Select All Issues from the Navigation bar.

    Open and Closed issues appear.

    Note that Open issues have a green icon and Closed issues have a red icon and check mark.

4.2.4.10.3 Reopening a Closed Issue

View an issue and then reopen it.

To reopen a closed issue:

  1. Click the Team Development menu.
    The Issues page appears.
  2. Select All Issues from the Navigation bar.

    Open and Closed issues appear.

    Note that Open issues have a green icon and Closed issues have a red icon and check mark.

  3. Find the closed issue and click the issue title.

    The Issue Details page appears.

  4. From the Actions menu, select Reopen Issue.
    The icon adjacent to the issue issue changes from red to green and the red check mark disappears. A new event is added to the Event Timeline which reads:
    set status for this issue to OPEN Now
