About Oracle Database Security Central Installation
Understand the process for installing Oracle Database Security Central (Oracle DBSecCentral).
Here are the steps for installing Oracle DBSecCentral:

Understand the Oracle Database Security Central components to be installed. See Oracle Database Security Central Concepts Guide for information about the components.

Plan the system configuration that best suits your needs. See Oracle Database Security Central Administrator’s Guide to plan the system configuration that best suits your needs.

Ensure that your system meets the pre-install requirements. See Oracle Database Security Central Pre-Install Requirements

Complete the installation of Audit Vault Server and Database Firewall. See Downloading and Installing Oracle Database Security Central

Complete the post-install configuration tasks. See Post-Install Configuration Tasks
Complete the registration of targets for monitoring (by audit and SQL network collection), sensitive data discovery, user and security assessment and policy management (Audit, Database Firewall, SQL Firewall, and Database Vault).
Note: The Audit Vault Server and the Database Firewall server are software appliances. You must not make any changes to the Linux operating system through the command line on these servers unless following official Oracle documentation or under guidance from Oracle Support.
