Oracle Key Vault release 18.8 introduces the following new feature.

User Given the Option to Clear Alert Message on Management Console

Starting with this release, you can delete specific alerts without disabling them.

Before this release, there was no way to delete specific alerts without disabling the alert entirely. Beginning with Oracle Key Vault release 18.8, it is possible to delete alerts. Alerts that are deleted will be re-raised if the alert condition is met the next time the alert is checked.

RESTful Commands for Multi-Master Clusters

Starting with this release, you can use RESTful commands to find information about multi-master clusters.

The new RESTful commands are as follows:

  • get_cluster_info retrieves information about an entire multi-master cluster, such as its name, the cluster version, the maximum disable node duration time, the names of the cluster subgroups, and the names of nodes associated with the cluster.
  • get_cluster_node_info retrieves details about the individual multi-master cluster nodes within a cluster, such as their name, IP address, mode, version, status, read-write peers, cluster subgroup where they belong, induction date, and the date they were disabled.
