1.4.6 Configuring the Operations Assistant

You can configure the Operations Assistant by using the following menu items:

Settings

Open Settings to configure the following options:

• Enable or disable follow-up suggestions.
• Enable or disable initial suggestions
• Set the number of conversations displayed per page to 10, 20, or 50. The default is 20.
• Automatically delete unpinned conversations after 30, 90, or 365 days, or select Never to retain them indefinitely. The default is 365 days. Pinned conversations are not deleted automatically. Automatic cleanup applies to them only after they are unpinned.
• Enable or disable knowledge-based retrieval for questions about how to use Oracle TSAM Plus. When enabled, the Operations Assistant grounds its responses in the prepared TSAM Plus knowledge base. The option is disabled by default. With less capable LLM models, enabling this option can improve response quality.
• Set the response length and level of detail to Brief, Standard, or Elaborate. The default is Standard.

AI Profile Configuration

Open AI Profile Configuration to view and/ or edit the current AI profile configuration.

The configuration includes the AI provider, and the parameters used by the provider. The parameters can include:

• Model: The LLM model used by the Operations Assistant.
• Max tokens: The maximum number of tokens that the model can generate.

When the provider is OCI, you can modify Model and Max tokens and click Save button to save the changes.

Note: Saved changes are applied to all AI profiles.

Click Refresh button to reload the current AI profile definition.
