8 Error and Informational Messages

All messages issued by Oracle Tuxedo Mainframe Adapter for TCP (IMS) (hereafter referenced as TMA TCP for IMS) have an IBM-standard 8-character message ID beginning with the characters, “BEA”. Messages have the following general format: BEA nnnnt ssss text.

Message Part Description
nnnn A unique message number in the range 2000 - 2500.
t The message type:

I=Informational

E=Error

W=Warning

ssss The socket number identifying the TCP/IP connection with which the message is associated. If the message is not associated with a specific TCP/IP connection, this field is blank.
text The actual text of the message.
