Patch Conflict with Essbase 21.8 and October 2025 CPU Patches

While applying 38452573 --> WLS STACK PATCH BUNDLE 12.2.1.4.250919 (INTERIM PATCH 38452575), OPatch warns of a conflict if Essbase 21.7.0.0.0 Patch (36675325), Essbase 21.7.1.0.0 Patch (37418271), Essbase 21.7.2.0.0 Patch (37623775), or Essbase 21.7.3.0.0 Patch (38090939) has already been applied.

The solution is to first apply the Essbase 21.8 Patch, and then the Fusion Middleware October 2025 CPU Patch.

If any of the following patches have been applied,

Oracle Essbase 21.7.0.0.0 (Patch ID: 36675325)
Oracle Essbase 21.7.1.0.0 (Patch ID: 37418271)
Oracle Essbase 21.7.2.0.0 (Patch ID: 37623775)
Oracle Essbase 21.7.3.0.0 (Patch ID: 38090939)

you need to complete the following steps to apply the October 2025 CPU Patch:

Roll back the patch. For more information, see Patch and Roll Back.
Apply Oracle Essbase 21.8.0.0.0 Patch (Patch ID: 37163584).
Apply the Fusion Middleware October 2025 CPU Patch. Refer to Release 21.8.0.0.0 - December 2025 - Independent Deployment.
