Application and cube structure

Each Essbase application on Autonomous AI Lakehouse contains one cube. The supported cube types are aggregate storage (ASO) and hybrid block storage (hybrid BSO).

Classic BSO is not supported. When this guide refers to a BSO cube, assume it means a hybrid BSO cube.

If needed, use the planning guidance in the Tasks section to evaluate whether ASO or hybrid BSO is appropriate for your business model.
