Calculation and feature differences

Not every calculation command, function, data operation, or configuration option available in other Essbase offerings applies to Essbase on Autonomous AI Lakehouse.

Do not assume that an existing calculation script will run without changes. Review the documented restrictions before moving calculation scripts or processes to Essbase on Autonomous AI Lakehouse. See: Calculate and Query Federated Cubes.

Some familiar Essbase features are unavailable or not relevant, including:

• Scenario Management, sandbox, and private-scenario workflows.
• Shadow applications.
• Currency conversion cubes.
• Cube-event triggers.
• Copying applications or cubes.
• Certain advanced calculation and data-management operations.
