Building from Excel

Application workbooks provide an Excel-based method for defining and building Essbase applications and cubes.

You can import application workbooks to define dimensions, members, member properties, formulas, data, and other cube artifacts. Use the Application Workbooks Reference for supported worksheet definitions and formats.

Note:

Cube Designer is not currently supported for Essbase on Autonomous AI Lakehouse.
