2.1.10 Migrate Exadata Guest Image Files from Local Storage to Exascale

Oracle Exadata System Software release 26.1.0 enables users to migrate existing Exadata guest image files from local storage on the KVM host to Exascale shared storage.

Storing virtual machine (VM) guest image files in Exascale eliminates dependency on local storage in the KVM host, enabling Exadata to support more VM guests. Exascale also provides the storage infrastructure necessary for rapid image cloning, image snapshots, and Exadata VM Live Migration.
