2.1.11 IPv4 and IPv6 Coexistence and Conversion

Oracle Exadata System Software release 26.1.0 enables users to easily and reliably migrate Exadata database servers between IPv4 and IPv6, in either direction. Users can also implement a dual-stack configuration, allowing IPv4 and IPv6 to operate together.

With expanded networking capabilities in the Oracle Exadata Deployment Assistant (OEDA) Command Line Utility (OEDACLI), users can add or remove IPv4 and IPv6 network interfaces without downtime or server reboots.

This feature extends existing Exadata support for IPv6 and provides more flexible network configuration options for Exadata systems, enabling customers to transition from IPv4 to dual-stack to IPv6 without planned server downtime or reboots.
