7.7.5.8 DESCRIBE FLASHCACHE
Purpose
The DESCRIBE FLASHCACHE
command displays a list of attributes for the FLASHCACHE
object type.
Syntax
DESCRIBE FLASHCACHE
Usage Notes
The attributes displayed by the DESCRIBE FLASHCACHE
command can include:

cellDisk
: Cell disk names that contain Exadata Smart Flash Cache. -
creationTime
: Time stamp when the Exadata Smart Flash Cache was created. -
degradedCelldisks
: List of cell disks configured for cache but not currently available.. -
effectiveCacheSize
: Usable cache size after deducting space on unavailable cell disks. -
id
: Global unique identifier (GUID) that is generated when the Exadata Smart Flash Cache is created. -
name
: Unique name of the Exadata Smart Flash Cache. -
size
: Total size of the Exadata Smart Flash Cache. -
status
: Current status of the Exadata Smart Flash Cache, such asnormal
,warning
orcritical
.
