Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) 23.9 Release Notes Summary

  • More control over compliance schedulers: New reset and unset options manage Orachk/Exachk daemon schedulers. -autostart reset restores default schedulers, while -autostop unset removes unchanged default schedules.
  • Audit-dump log management: TFA Managelogs can now monitor and purge Grid Infrastructure and database audit dump files, preventing them from consuming excessive space.
  • Auto-update configuration controls: ahfctl setupgrade and unsetupgrade add -autoupdate options to enable, disable, store, or remove automatic-update settings.
  • Faster Insights-enabled collections: TFA diagnostic collections that include Insights reports are generated more efficiently, reducing the processing required to analyze compressed diagnostic data.
  • CVU diagnostics included: AHF collects Cluster Verification Utility reports and snapshots with the -cvu component; CVU data is also included by default in CRS and database collections.
  • New Orachk checks: Added checks cover ODA asmappl.config consistency, ADVM volume-resource configuration, and printk logging settings.
