System Topology

Note:

Fabric Switches and Storage Servers sections will not be displayed in a non-Exadata environment.

Cluster

Starting with AHF 23.8, you can copy cluster information in text format to the clipboard and paste it into the body of a Service Request (SR) when raising a Service Request.

The Cluster section provides a summary of the cluster and its resources, including Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) details.

Cluster Summary

The Cluster Summary provides a high-level overview of the following:

  • System
  • Oracle Grid Infrastructure
  • Incidents
  • Oracle Database
  • Database Server
  • Storage Server
  • RDMA Network Fabric Switch

To view more information about a database home, click the arrow in the Database Home section.

Click Copy as text to copy the cluster summary to the clipboard.

Cluster Resources

The Cluster Resources section provides paginated details about cluster resources, including Oracle Databases, pluggable databases (PDBs), and listeners.

The information includes:

  • CRS resource names
  • Online or offline status of targets
  • Resource state
  • Server on which the resource is running

Click Expand All to display details for all cluster resources.

ASM Details

The ASM Details section provides paginated information about:

  • Cluster nodes
  • Instance names
  • Online or offline status of nodes
  • Disk group names
  • Online or offline status of disk groups
  • Disk usage percentage

In the Group Details table, click Show in the Disk Group Status column to view detailed information about the disk group for each cluster node in a side panel.

Databases

Starting with AHF 23.8, you can copy database information in text format to the clipboard and paste it into the body of a Service Request (SR).

The Databases section provides basic and detailed information about the Oracle Databases running on the system, including database instances, pluggable databases (PDBs), and tablespaces.

  • Click Copy Snippet to copy the database instance, PDB, and tablespace details to the clipboard.
  • Click Show in the Details column to view the database instance, PDB, and tablespace details in a side panel.

Database Servers

Starting with AHF 23.8, you can copy database server information in text format to the clipboard and paste it into the body of a Service Request (SR).

The Database Servers section provides basic information about the database servers in the system.

  • Sort the information by Attribute, Target, or Value.
  • Click Copy Snippet to copy the database server information to the clipboard.

Storage Servers

Starting with AHF 23.8, you can copy storage server information in text format to the clipboard and paste it into the body of a Service Request (SR).

The Storage Servers section provides basic information about the storage servers in the system.

  • Sort the information by Attribute, Target, or Value.
  • Click Copy Snippet to copy the storage server information to the clipboard.

Fabric Switches

Starting with AHF 23.8, you can copy RDMA Network Fabric switch information in text format to the clipboard and paste it into the body of a Service Request (SR).

The Fabric Switches section provides basic information about the RDMA Network Fabric switches in the system.

  • Sort the information by Attribute, Target, or Value.
  • Click Copy Snippet to copy the fabric switch information to the clipboard.
