Analyze the Environment and Identify Patches to be Applied

Before patching your databases, Oracle recommends you use the Software Standardization Advisor that scans the database configuration across all targets and generates a report (on-demand) of the existing environment. The report identifies the number of unique configurations (Platform + Version + Database-Type + Patches) and lists the Oracle Homes and databases for each configuration.
