Downloading Enterprise Manager Catalog Zip File From Another Host With Internet Connectivity

In Offline mode, you must use another host that has an Internet connection, and manually download the em_catalog.zip file from My Oracle Support. To download the catalog file use URL: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip.

Information about the targets affected by the latest patches, and patches that you have to download manually are available within the catalog zip file.

Uploading Enterprise Manager Catalog Zip File from your Host With No Internet Connectivity

After downloading transfer the em_catalog.zip file back to your local host using FTP or other file transfer methodology. Then from your local host log in to Enterprise Manager to upload the zip file, follow these steps:

1. In the Setup menu, select Provisioning and Patching, then select Offline Patching
2. Click Browse and specify the location of the latest em_catalog.zip file.
3. Click Upload.

   On clicking Upload, a refresh from My Oracle Support job is created and submitted.
